Emu bush, New Holland Honeyeater & Blue Bee Linen Tea Towel

$32.00

These warm yellow flowers are loved by birds, and cheeky New Holland and white cheeked honey eaters are very fond of a nectar feed!

Emu bush or eremophila are a recent trend in Australian gardens. There are an increasing variety available through nurseries. They are tube shaped and primarily bring in birds such as New Holland Honeyeaters who can get to the nectar down the long tubular flowers. The tiny blue banded bees are buzz pollinators but they are also known to poke through the base of long flowers to get at the nectar!

The tea towels are designed in Perth, WA and printed & sewn in Victoria. They are 100% linen, and will soften with use. The tea towel is 42 cm by 62 cm, slightly larger than an A2 piece of paper. Available in white or cream/natural linen.

Care instructions:

The tea towels are 100% linen. I recommend a gentle cold hand wash and drip dry, using a gentle phosphate-free detergent. Do not rub or wring. The natural texture of the fabric means the print may lift in tiny spots with washing and general wear & tear. Washing according to instructions will minimize this.
